App Not Closing/Stopping in Steam
BRANCH: None
REPORT: The game does not close when exiting to desktop. In Steam it still says it's running. Only way to "close" V Rising is to close Steam and force the game to stop.

SquareRooter#3722I have same issue. When hitting "quit or "quit to desktop" the game appears to shut down. But when you look in Steam library it says "stopping" instead of "play". Only way to fully shut the game down is to force quit Steam. When you restart Steam it now says "play". Im on a private server and I have heard of others having the same problem.

unholycowgodThis is happening to me now as well. Just started in the last few days. I've tried looking to see what apps or services are running while the game is open and also while running the local private server. All apps and processes appear to close correctly, but Steam still thinks the game is running.
Windows 10 with all available updates; Steam is up to date; V Rising is on the latest hotfix (0.5.42050 at this time). This was not an issue the for the first ~10 days I had this game but just started recently. -

unholycowgodAdding to my original comment, this occurs even if I start the game and then immediately exit without playing; so it appears to be unrelated to running the game server locally as I initially thought.

Orb MergedHello V Rising Team,
Every time I close the Steam application, the program goes into a "Not Responding" state. Neither Steam nor Windows can shut your program down, and so I have to force my computer to shut down to clear the issue. Steam can start the program just fine; I can load into games; i can even exit back to the main menu, but when i choose to close the application--boom--locks up. I've had this consistently happen 4 times in a row. I wont be playing your game any longer until this is addressed. -
