Cannot Exit game

Since the patch, today cannot exit the game. Every time I select EXIT in the menu, the game freezes completely, can't do anything unless you kill the process. Tried restarting my PC - but the same issue persists. Tried about 20 times now.

I get the same issue, but have been getting it before the patch. The difference for me is that I cannot kill the process, as the game displays over all the other programs on the screen and I cannot click on the task manager. The only thing I can do is reboot my computer. It's very frustrating!
