  Tannery, right now to make item 'Empty Canteen' you need 0 components, which means as crafts infinitely. Which also means you cannot crafting anything else because tannery is stuck making non stop Empty Canteen'.

  The tannery is glitched- it will produce the empty canteen with nothing in the tannery at all.
  
  Mine will make leather- but not Pristine Leather.
  
  but I now have about 400 empty canteens. Ready and waiting!
  
  Methods tried:
  exit program and restart
  wait a few days
  wait for a new patch
  dismantling the tannery
  building a new tannery
  building more than one tannery
  loading it with ONLY the pristine Leather ingredients. (still only empty canteen output)
  even tried to backup the save file and reload.
  check game files for integrity
  
  all good boss! still making those empty canteens.

  Same here, sens the free crafing is before the Prestine Leather the Tanery can't craft beound it. If i put in normal hide it working on that then back to the free crafting can't do any more so it stops even when it supose to be able to do more Prestine sens i found some but NO. Need a fix that can mark the one you whana focus crafting or ben able to deselect a craft resepy.

  tried;
  -Exit program.
  -Checked up to date.
  Using Windows 10.
  -Dismantled Tannery and rebuilt = same problem.
  -Played a little bit of the game to see if something unglitched it but no.
  
  I'm not sure if the values were simply reset to 0,0 and how. Maybe some buff or discount is affect this value too much.

  Ok guys i found why this happens. When you first create your world there are the sever settings, you can change loot and crafting multipliers to get more loot from stuff or recipes cost less.
  The Problem lies in the crafting recipe multiplier, it is set to 0, set it back to 1 and the problem is resolved.
  
  for me its in here.
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VRising\VRising_Server\VRisingServer_Data\StreamingAssets\Settings
  Open ServerGameSettings, in notepad.
  
  Go to "RecipeCostModifier": if the value is 0 change it to 1.

  I have the same problem in my private server. Tannery makes empty canteens and the resources cost for it is 0. I want to make pristine leather but can`t. i can make only leather. I have one character in PVP server and I can see only this server setting. I don`t know where to look my private server settings. Can anyone help? In game settings i can see that my craftingCostMultiplier is 0 but I don`t know where i can change it.

  I look at what you were saying in my file but set to 1.0. "RecipeCostModifier": 1.0, I still have the problem (running Windows 10 Home). we will need a fix please thanks for your time.

  The Tannery is perma crafting emprty canteens, and dont let me craft lvl 2 leather on a private lobby, wich was personalized, just by the rules menu. I hope you can help me, cuz dont let me raise up my power and i feel like Stuck

  You can edit your RecipeCostModifier for your saved world which is saved at:
  
  $USER$\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v1\$WORLD_UUID$\ServerGameSettings.json
  
  You have to figure out which UUID is your world by looking at ServerHostSettings.json and checking the name of the world.

  I have the same problem, makes the game unplayable atm. I dont want make a new charater to get to make Pristine leather.
