Use Voice Chat option keeps disabling itself
i want to use voice chat, people talks to me but i can't hear them, an icon of disabled sound appears above them and i can't talk either because the Use Voice Chat option keeps disabling itself.

Anuj MergedSO I LAUNCHED MY GAME AND EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE THEN I TRIED TO VOICE CHAT BUT IT WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL, I TRIED EVERYTHING, CHANGED MY SETTINGS AND PUT IT BACK TO DEFAULT BUT THE SAME RESULT. I HOPE YOU FIX THIS SOON!

TheEnigmaticMan MergedAfter enabling 'Use Voice Chat' I am able to use the feature in game for about twenty seconds, whereafter it abruptly stops working. Upon checking the settings the box has un-checked without my input.

Daniel MergedI cannot talk, or hear any other player. I tried fooling around in the sound settings and going through my Windows settings. Nothing seems to work.

Wolti MergedVoice chat suddenly stopped working. I can't use voice chat or hear others' voice anymore. I checked the settings and no matter how many times i turn "use voice chat" in the sound options on, it keeps getting turning off on its own.

Vampire bug hunterYep, voice is broken 95% of the time. Been playing like 150 hours already and I've only heard it work MAYBE 3 times, then it just stops working again. You can see the voice icon above people and zero sound

ZulrangMy voice chat hasn't worked since the Gloomrot update. I can't hear anyone and my push to talk button doesn't work, and no one can hear me.
I've tried messing with all the settings, changing inputs/outputs, changing the PTT key, nothing helps. All other sound/music in the game works fine. -

Kaccel MergedEvery time I launch the game I have to go into settings and chose my preferred output. Works as intended for other inputs/outputs tho

REPORT:
Recently started playing on a private hosted server, and neither I or any of my friends are able to use in-game voice chat - the option is off by default in the settings, and turning it on doesn't seem to fix it. The right input device is selected both in-game and in Windows settings.
When I check the Microphone Privacy Settings on Windows, it says V Rising hasn't accessed or requested access to my microphone for about a year, the last time we played.

BarbaCinza MergedVoice chat all config enabled, but doesn´t work, can´t hear, can´t talk. Was working until last month. Windows config all ok, working fine all other games.
