Territory stairs can't be placed
Although my territory seems to include the double staircase at the front, trying to build stairs here gives an error message.

REPORT:
When trying to place stairs on a double stepped slope (within castle territory) I get a "Blocked by environment" error. See attached screenshot for clarity, as you can see the territory boundary extends out to the bottom of the steps, but will not allow stairs to be placed.
This is on a private server.
SOLUTIONS TRIED:
- Restarted Game Client & Server
- Verified Client Game Files
- Reinstalled Both Client & Server
- Tried Local Solo Mode With Same Result -

Foame Mergedoccurred after trying to reoptimize castle layout. nothing ought be in the way but, the placement of these stairs are apparently blocked by a castle entrance. for further confusion, there is no castle door adjacent to the stairs; only walls surround the stairs out of view.

Tyvik MergedExactly what the title says. This only seems to be an issue on the specific territory my castle is on. Everywhere else seems to be able to have stairs placed without issue, and after looking around about it another person posted on Reddit about having the exact same issue in the exact same spot.

lilibat MergedTrying to place stairs in front, like you do, but it's saying blocked by environment. I have cleared everything around them. I have also done stairs on other double stairs like this elsewhere on the map so I know it's possible generally speaking. This is the plot just east of the whetstone bandit encampment and just west of the west merchants in Farbane.

Zach C. MergedYou can't place stairs on one of the entrances in the most north west castle plot. It might be intentional game design but I'm not sure.

REPORT:
When placing a staircase that crosses over the landing of a natural ramp the game provides a "Blocked by Environment" error despite the game allowing foundations to be built in the same spot - indicating it is not a traversal clearance issue.
Have you tried any solutions?
Have tried taking different angles, placing and removing foundations, encasing the lower landing cell in walls, and placing from different levels. Same result. -

JaiFear MergedMy territory appears to require two sets of long stairs but even one cannot be placed. It say the environment is blocking it, but I've cut down anything that would block it and still no luck. Idk if longer stairs are in the works?

WJSI believe that this is may be the same issue as the one I'm having? Trying to place stairs, it appears that the square in front of the top or bottom can't be shared between two sets of stairs.

WJSFound another situation where it looks like the stairs *should* be place-able, but they are blocked.
