Death Bug - Respawn dead again.

Report: After dying in the silver mine, I went to respawn and instead of spawning I just "teleported" dead again. I had no option other than "giving up" and dying a second time (as I had no teammates). This ended up breaking a majority of my armor and weapons to the point where I had nothing left to keep going.

scrotty Mergeddied in pvp, player sucked my blood while the counter was counting down to release with "X". He finished sucking my blood before the counter and i had two prompts overlayed on eachother. I was able to respawn at a gateway but I was still dead. Still had the prompt to release with "x" but it did not work.

Towlie MergedHad an issue where I was ganked by two players. When I respawned at a waypoint it spawned me in still in the death screen. Ended up having to take two deaths (20% durability loss) instead of 10% because of it.

Orchid MergedRespawning at a coffin triggers the same bug.
Durability loss indeed triggers twice (12.5% for PvP and 25% for general death).
I was unable to check which one is triggered first, but I assume it's the PvP death.
I was also finished by a player and had more than 1 player killing me solo at the time. It might be related to the big or not. -

Explanation:
So I occurred this bug twice. Not a big deal but still a little bit irritating. I have no mods. Didn’t check any files and I can play the game but: when I’m in a fight and die (let’s say a duel with a player) I’m waiting like 120s to revive myself in the nearest teleport. However when I revive myself dead again. And again have to wait a little bit longer. During screen when the counter going down I can see, because of spamming escape, a UI for a milliseconds and I see that I have some disease on me or curse. I believe because of another player skill. However after dead I should be clean, right? I believe that’s the reason why I wake up dead again after reviving. So it is like been killed twice.

Memento MergedAfter being fed on by multiple enemy vampires at the same time, after you die and respawn you will be dead again. This requires a team mate to resurrect you, or you will have to RELEASE again suffering another DEATH penalty to durability and vampire respawn timer.
The second death happens regardless of whether you spawn at a coffin or a waygate.
This is repeatable, anytime you get fed on by more than one vampire you will die twice. -

Angelico MergedREPORT: After Hotfix #1 or #2, I've now died twice in my castle with nothing there to kill me. It happens while I'm logged out of the game. When I log in, I am dead and my inventory has despawned so I lose everything including rare cosmetics. It also is causing unnecessary durability damage to my gear. I was an active player prior to Gloomrot and this had never happened. I have no mods are any other modifications. I'm unsure how you could reproduce this. I've restarted my computer and verified game files but it continues to happen.

Linus MergedEvery time i start the game im dead even im logged out inside my castle. And the stuff i had in my inventory is gone and do corpse to pick up loot from. This happends every time im logging in.

Bishares MergedThis bug happened twice to me already. I am not sure about the exact conditions for this to occur but I believe its something like this:
1. Get killed by some other player
2. Other player is coming to your body and starting the kill channeling
3. You press x multiple times (for self suicide, so you respawn faster)
4. Other players kill goes through (and your equipment gets damaged)
5. You wait the 30 seconds for respawn
6. You respawn at your coffin (mine is a wooden coffin)
7. BUG: You instantly die again and have to wait 30 seconds again (I think this death does not count as pvp kill)
8. You revive and examine your remains: It contains the ~12% of materials from your equipment -

Ben Winter Mergedalmost everytime im logging of in my castle on a non raid server i will be dead when i log on the next day.
the issue is if i had anything in my inventory it despawned because the Charakter probably died some time ago and i just repawn when logging on my friend who logged of right next to me didn't die i will screenshot the next time i go of and look if i'm dead the next day i will updaite the post if in happens againe -

Not sure, but it might be some interaction between item ownership, the death timer, and respawn? Having my items still in my inventory after death is what makes me think there could be an interaction/ ownership issue. Dunno about the non PVP double deaths though. -

Samuel Amonick MergedSo, let me preface this. I am in my castle, walls and ceilings. No sunlight. I log off for the night, I get back on, I instantly die. It started in the coffin, so I thought the coffin was the issue. Then it started outside the coffin. I have to cross my fingers the game doesn't kill me for a laugh. Love this game though.

StrifPeople are exploiting this in pvp they'll place a bomb over where you get killed and it'll increase your timer AND respawn you dead ffs how is this even a thing in a pvp game.
