Typing x in chat box also confirms death (typing while waiting for revive)

REPORT:
I got downed (did not confirm death, waiting for revive), my teammates were still fighting, I started typing in chat, as I typed "pixel " the x counted as death confirmation, and space after put me in location respawn choice window with the chat box active and accepting input.
No mods.

What happens? Please give as many details as possible.:
We were fighting a boss and I died, I opened chat, I typed "XD" and the "X" action for giving up and dying was triggered, but also my message was sent.

Have you modified your game files or installed any mods?: No.

Can the devs reproduce the issue? How?: No. I don't know how I reproduce it, but it happens randomly. :(

Have you tried any solutions?: [No. I think it's not relevant]
