Blood Fountain Jewel

It seems that sometimes when you have a jewel on bloodfountain that lets you recast a mini version of it + the free recast from illusion tree makes the jewel socket that was socketed in blood fountain dissapear. It happened to me 3 times since the new patch.

had a gem to cast blood fountain twice but second cast will be lesser and used it with scholar blood had a spell cd proc to instant reused blood fountain and it deleted my gem

The socket was tier 2 and had the ability to "recast" for a smaller effect. I was using 90%+ scholar blood and at some point in combat, I lost the ability to recast through the socket. After the blood ran out I noticed that my socket was no longer equip and nowhere to be found.
