Report: After latest Gloomrot hotfixes, private server will not start. Launching via Batch has nothing happening no matter how long I wait. If I launch using the .exe directly it shows that it tries to start loading and gets stuck on [Server] Shutting down Asynchronous Streaming
If I leave this alone I can see auto-saves triggering but no one can connect to the server. The server also does not show up in the browser and has to be connected via direct connect or steam friends.
I have updated the game via SteamCMD and completely reinstalled it. I've tried a blank new save and a few different backup autosaves. The machine hosting the server has been restarted and checked for Windows Updates.

Report: Private server does not start properly and simply stops at [Server] Shutting down Asynchronous Streaming. Cannot connect via Direct, server list, or continue.
I have updated the game via SteamCMD, Reinstalled the game, reinstalled SteamCMD, updated Windows, restarted the machine several times. This is a physical machine, not virtual, and I know it meets the minimum requirements and it was working perfectly fine before recent Gloomrot patches.
There are no Mods and we have only adjusted the game settings in the existing files.

ZelkovaI wish my server worked after 35 minutes. it's been running for hours and still can't connect. Something is running because I can see auto-saves in the logs but that's it.

sls_khct AdminThis is a bit old now, but just want to say that the log line that is being talked about here:
"[Server] Shutting down Asynchronous Streaming"
This is not an error in and of itself, this appears in our logs for our servers as well and is not an indication of anything being wrong. It is also (usually) the last thing that gets printed to the log file (or standard output) on start-up, before the autosave logs start appearing (as also mentioned here). So, if the server has gotten this far it should have completed the start-up successfully, but if unable to connect there are probably other configuration issues or ports not being accessible for instance. -

sls_khct AdminContinued.
Original poster (Dan) mentioned that it started working after leaving it running for a while. Were you not able to connect at all before this, or was it that it took this long for it to show up in the server list? Fetching all (or enough for a particular server to show up) servers from the server list has had some issues with taking a long time or just not getting all the servers. Improvements have been made here.
For others who cannot connect to server after start-up, we would need more information about settings used. If unable to connect directly, if the issue is that it does not show up in server list. Is the server hosted locally (on same network) or somewhere "on the Internet"? Are ports open? Does it work to connect to the servers SteamID?
