Screen slowly turning all black during Blood Moon

  Periodically my screen goes black. It usually starts from the bottom right corner and quickly spreads across the whole screen, taking roughly 3 seconds to do so.
  It has happened 4 times so far; the 1st time was the day i bought the game and after about 3 hours of play, 2nd time happened after 30 minutes of playtime, 3rd same as 1st and this 4th time after only 20-30 minutes.
  I still have sound, can move around and icons around the edges of the screen are still there ie mini map etc.
  
  I can not recall the time of day in game for any of my black screens. Logically it does not seem to purely be a sunrise instance though, given the differing amounts of time in game that I have had a black screen.

  I've experienced the same issue. The HUD is unaffected but, the terrain/character is covered up by a black screen. I have to log out/back in to correct it. I've experienced it several times and I've not noticed any consistency with the time of day, etc.

  This is a bug I have experienced almost every game I have played since launch. I have a wide screen monitor. I just got used to restarting and hoping it would get noticed in a future patch. Notice when it happens next time that if you don't turn when it starts, just run in same direction it will only cover half the screen. It's when you turn that it covers the rest of the screen. This doesn't happen to me just during a Blood Moon. it can be any time.

  It happens not only on blood moon but randomly in the game.
