Freeze Lag after each used ability
I've encountered some problem and after 3-4 hours of trying to fix it myself with the help of all-this-youtube-videobloggers I came here, because all this didn't help me.
I have a game freezes after every activated ability of any character - whether it's a vampire or just a NPC. But only the very first time. That is, if someone uses chaos bolts, then their re-use does not cause lag. Freeze can last from 0.5 to 1 second. Imagine how many abilities in the game (do not forget about the NPC), these freezes just constantly occur in the game and it's very annoying. After an hour or two game on the server all the abilities are already squeezed and freezes stop. But if I rejoin the server as it all starts from the beginning.
I tried: Fullscreen, Update Drivers, Update OS, High Priority Process, Low Graphic Settings, Check file integrity, Free some space on system disk, Install game on SSD.

LiaNdrYOf course, I'm probably going to say something stupid now. But check the following parameters of your PC:
1. If you have an SSD, it should have more than 20% free space (the more, the faster it works)
2. If you have an Nvidia card, then go to the driver settings and change the parameter in "Manage 3D settings -> Tab "Global Settings" -> Shader cache size" to "Unlimited", it is advisable to restart the PC. (If all of the above did not help, you can return it as it was)
According to the description of your problem, everything depends on the speed of the hard disk, because Unity does not load all the animations into RAM at once. They are in different archives of the game. Unity unpacks them, then reads them and writes them to memory. But it seems after such an operation, the use of the same skill should not cause suspension. -

Joseph WebberMy game also freezes for about 0.5-2 seconds whenever it has to load a vampire ability or boss mechanic for the first time. It's quite frustrating and has caused me a couple deaths.

Gwen MergedWhen playing the game, the first time a weapon effect is rendered after loading into a world, a severe framedrop happens that tanks fps to zero, sometimes for multiple seconds. For some more detailed effects (like crossbow rain of bolts) you have to run the ability multiple times so it doesn't cause framedrops later on. This also happens with all enemy effects, especially the fancier boss abilities. Again, this is only a problem the first couple times the effect is rendered and loaded in, suggesting to me that some assets aren't being properly loaded in/processed fully when loading, but the longer I play the more stable the game gets. This has not resulted in a crash or process lock-up, only sudden performance tanking, sometimes resulting in death and having to wait for the next night to re-attempt a boss now that the effects will work properly. I am running EndeavourOS (arch-based linux) with Nvidia proprietary driver 5.15.

Dough BoiIs anyone else experiencing severe frame drop but only once combat takes place? I have been playing for a few hours but it never gets better like other comments suggest. I messed around with all of the settings but no improvement. I don't remember this being a problem for me previously, but I only last played back during July I believe.
Anytime I enter my castle or engage in combat I start lagging hard. I even set everything in the graphics tab all the way to their lowest settings or off completely and I still had the problem. Is this a "me" problem or a "Vrising" problem?
