When you add the water to the horse directly sitting on it, it wont show the added value. You need to first get down from the horse, then get back up and eventually you will see it normally - it should be like that instantly, not after getting down and up.

It doesn't disappear, it's still there just had to right click the slot it was put in for me. However it is not "feeding" the horse or extending it's lifetime

When you sit at the horse and give water to it, it will not show up in horse inventory. After dismount it shows correctly. Additionaly, horse "lifetime" does not update when water is not visible.

EDIT

Taking back water from horse when mounted, does not updated horse inventory.

Seconding this issue as explained by KaeDox. If you right click on your horse's inventory, the water will appear back in your bags, so the water doesn't disappear, but it's also not registering in the horse's inventory at all (won't show up, won't extend life duration).

It's not "showing" the water for me, but if you drag or click the empty slot where you it, it'll return to your inventory.

The same happens for me. Sometimes the water will disappear, and then reappear in my inventory. Other times, I can right click the slots to retrieve the water. In either case, the water is not sustaining the horse.

One way to fix the issue is to get off the horse after transfering the water over to it. The water will then show up in the horse's inventory slots and it will be properly sustained. Afterwards, if you mount the horse, you can still see it is sustained.

Once the filled waterskin is given to a horse it disappears whiting the horse's inventory and doesn't add time to the horse's life spam, it can be retrieved into the player's inventory with right-click

When I try to put some filled waterskin on my horse, it doesn't change his lifetime. So we can't keep our horses :(

As title says. The timer doesn't increase when I add it. But I can regain my waterskin by clicking where the skin *should* be.

When you add water pouches into the horses inventory they neither show nor add any hours to the time. The can however be retreived by pressing with R click on whichever slot you put them in.

When did the issue start? Were you able to play the game before? - Issue started today, we hadn't had horses in this world before
What happens? Please give as many details as possible. - Graphical when placing water in the horses, it doesn't show the water immediately - you have to dismount and get back on
Have you modified your game files or installed any mods? - no mods, we planned on doing so eventually but haven't used any in this world
Can the devs reproduce the issue? How? - by trying to stick water in a horse and seeing if it shows up?

Have you tried any solutions?
-Verify files: Steam > Right click on V Rising > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files
-Please try restarting your PC

When mounted on a horse and trying to right-click transfer waterskins to its inventory, they disappear from my inventory but do not appear in horse's inventory. Upon unmounting and remounting, the horse's inventory now shows the water as was intended. The same "delay" is true when trying to take the water out of the horse's inventory.

I also experienced a similar issue. When you put the the waterskin in the second slot you can't remove it anymore. It is stuck in there.

When you sit on a horse and put the filled waterskin in the second slot of a horse it becomes stuck. You can't remove it. You can't move. You can't take it back into your inventory. It's just stuck there now. I encountered this bug once. Then it didn't happen again. By the way, when you sit on a horse and put the waterskin into its inventory it "disappears". It doesn't actually disappear you just can't see it. When you get off the horse you can see the waterskin again. But this other bug has been reported before.

I haven't tried the second slot thing yet, but I can confirm that adding filled waterskins to the horse, they do not show nor does the timer update until you dismount and remount the horse.

Added water canteens to horse inventory just fine, but when I'm onthe horse and right click water into the horse, its doe not visually change anyting, until i get off and get back on. It then shows the difference in water
