Laggy Storage/Rubber Banding

Some storage chests when opened make using the storage window laggy. This includes right-clicking items, left-click dragging items and also moving away from the storage keeps the window open and causes rubber banding until you use another storage chest or manage to hit Esc to close the window. It doesn't appear to be consistent as using a "laggy" storage chest, using another, then going back to the "laggy" storage doesn't seem to replicate the issue all the time.

when putting items into chest or taking them out or sorting in solo play and with friends I'm having an issue where it will take up to 30 seconds for it to process the action of transferring and sorting and compulsively counting. worked fine during the first few hours of gameplay but occurred more often and for longer periods of time after a longer period of gameplay. caused rubber banding and overall lag issues.

The lag caused by chests is insidious, and eventually, you must leave and reconnect to the server to be able to use chests properly again.

This happens without fail if you're moving lots of items between chests.

Even after the patch on May 18th, there has been issues regarding moving items into chests at a fast rate, it lags the game and makes it annoying to have to sit and watch items transfer slowly into the chests, everyone and myself has been experiencing this bug. I do think it's an actual bug and it has nothing to do with game files. It could just be the server but its an official server so I'm not really sure.

This issue is egregious and seems to be an issue with transferring items and opening stations/storage itself. It's like the transfer events queue up and the netcode locks, then in one sudden burst all of the events in the queue flush (including movement) and the items transfer in one go, and all your movements turn into teleporting around for a brief time until everything is re-synchronized.

This is affecting absolutely everyone (80-100 people) on our server intermittently, and was also prevalent in the beta experience (on the 60 player servers)

Having this same problem - leads to silly problems like being unable to close the storage for up to 10 seconds, right clicking an item leading to long delays before the item changes inventories, and it seems worse with larger inventories (though maybe size isn't related, small sample size).

it seems whenever I restart the game, everything fixes itself but later down the line, the problem comes back again

No matter what storage I use be it chests or refinery or crafting my game stops for a solid 3 sec, if i try to be fast and move items my game loses connection

To me it seems like this issue gets worse as you have the game open for longer. When I restart my game, it seems to fix the issue for while then after a good bit of farming it seems to lag again. There also seems to be a problem with my fps also gets lower then longer my game is open as well.

Was working fine this for last couple of days and even this morning. After latest hotfix this started happening to me. Anyone else? Public servers.
I've tried verifying steam files, uninstalling/reinstalling ,moved between hdd and sdd, nve m.2 drives.
Restarted pc, reduced settings...

This slowness already existed before hotfix #3, after hotfix #3 in my opinion this slowness increased and the problem of moving items (loot) in the inventory on my client still continues even after hotfix #3.

It's still not conclusive but after some tests I could do, if you always leave the bags in hide (bags minimized), the problem takes time to occur or almost doesn't happen.

I talked to other players who did NOT have a problem with inventory and they all confirmed not using bags.

The "Compulsive Count" button is also laggy. When you click it nothing happens. Sometimes you have to wait or click on it 3 times for it to work.

Hello,

"I can play normally in the game, but when I open a chest, there are often visual delays. Sometimes these delays last for more than 10 seconds, and it takes at least one second for each item to be displaced.

A friend has the same problem, but to a lesser extent. Before the game's official launch and during the beta test, I didn't experience these lags.

I received a message saying that my computer memory was insufficient, but I have 16 GB of RAM and 50 GB of free space on my SSD, so I don't think that's the problem.

I have enabled Stunlock to receive statistics while I play. I play on Steam.

I don't think my configuration is the issue. Here are my specs:

Intel Core i7-5820K
GIGABYTE X99-SLI-CF
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
16 GB DDR4 SDRAM
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (x64) Build 7601 (Service Pack 1)

Having issues with server lag - Spells not registering fast enough to react to V-Blood attacks - Also my character randomly throws their Axe while I am RIDING my horse, instead of speeding it up - Items not transferring when clicked (unless spammed) and finally having to spam F to pick up items because the game doesn't register it on the first click. All of this happened within one hour of gameplay today :c (Just a lot of lag problems, even though the server is quiet at the moment)

Can confirm this is happening to me too. I'm hosting a server rented from gportal and at every AutoSaveInterval (which I set out to 360 seconds) I get significant rubberbanding for about five seconds. I am not able to resolve this or access the ServerHostSettings file. A recommended fix was to turn off file compression, but since I can't access the json file I'm not able to do this.

Happening on many servers, i've been playing on. intermittent lag and rubber banding, made a reddit post and people there are having the same issue as well.
