  Basically the title. Put rings into The Devourer, got nothing in output.

  seem to be equipment in particular for me.
  Tried with various things that should return items - merciless nightstalker equipment should return 2 cloth iirc ? but does not have a tooltip when you have devourer open to recycle things. this is true for all gear as far as i have seen (only at merciless hollowfang tier atm)
  
  for knowledge items (tomes etc) it does return the paper/scrolls/etc normally though , and they also have the tooltip showing.
  
  playing live patch (steam)
  i'm playing in a very easy setting that i customised for myself, as a "solo only" world, but have had this in a private password protected world as well yesterday before i decided i'd start over to understand the game again after a long time not playing.

  I've noticed this with artifacts. I've also noticed some artifacts have a visible repair cost. This implies that artifacts have a hidden durability, and some of the durability is lost when the player dies with it in the inventory
