Bugged Build Placement

when I'm pressing the build menu and when i move my mouse around, the object only follows my character and does not allow me to select where I want to build something by my mouse.
I have restarted, reinstalled the game, tried another PC, and still the problem follow my character. I have attached a screenshot how the bug looks. Again, anything I go to make if ON my character space, and will not allow me to select it anywhere else for creation. Is there some sort of flush we can do? This bug started after making a particular chest beside each other. Nothing I do resets it.

I also have this issue. That also means I cannot fish or use any ranged spell.

I can not place any additional buildings.
