Stuck above Fortress of Light as bat

I transformed into a bat just outside the door of the Fortress of Light. It flew me above the holy symbol unable to move or transform back into a vampire. Using the unstuck option in the menu doesn't do anything. Quitting and reloading the game puts me in the same position.

I ended up getting out of it by waiting for daylight to burn me to death. Corpse spawned normally on the ground below.
