LEGENDARY WEAPONS BUG on Servants

My servant was equipped with a legendary mace and it would not allow me to remove this item. I could still remove their armor and amulet, but not the legendary weapon. When I saw her again, the weapon no longer gave her the power levels. When I sent her on a mission to collect loot, she came back without the weapon. Now I am down one legendary weapon.
