Camera rotation suddenly becomes warp-speed fast and aim not matching cursor
I am getting a CONSTANT issue where suddenly, the camera rotation speed is super fast - so fast you can't see anything or control yourself - and attack direction doesn't match cursor position (nor can I place anything in build mode, because the game thinks my cursor isn't where the cursor is).
Sometimes it goes back to normal after a minute, sometimes several minutes, sometimes never until i ragequit.
I have tried two different mice from two different manufacturers (and therefore two different drivers), one RedDragon and one Corsair, I have tried wireless and wired modes. I have updated mouse firmware. I have restarted the game - multiple times. I have rebooted my PC - multiple times. It keeps happening, usually within just a few minutes of starting a game session.
The game is completely unplayable.

Blackwhisp63 MergedSeemingly at random my camera sensitivity will increase drastically. when this happens if I am looking in my inventory, trying to build, or looking in a chest my character will only move a small step. If I try to place any object it will be forced to be placed next to me also I have no control over what directions my weapon ability's activate on unless I am already moving in that direction during the activation of the ability. Furthermore when I right clicking any item in my inventory to auto move, consume, equip, drop, etc. I am unable to do so and instead it will move, consume, equip, drop, etc. the first item in my inventory/hot bar.
So far this seems to happen at random last a short period of time and randomly goes away. I have no idea what could be triggering it because I am doing different things every time it happens but consistently this glitch has happened when I am building or going though many items in my base. I have rarely experienced this glitch during combat. -

yeagerSame thing has happened to me, but it fixed itself a minuite after my friend (he set up a dedicated server to be up and running 24/7) got online. Has only ever happened when i was alone on the server.

Nathan HughesCurrently Having the same issue and the game is now completely unplayable and has been since the most recent set of hotfixes which really sucks. The player Character model cant seem to move normally while having the inventory window open and there is no control over the direction of attacks as it doesn't match the cursors location on screen. I tried Reinstalling the game and verifying the game files but nothing has worked thus far and the whole experience has became a chore just trying to get the game to run as intended which is unfortunate for those who just want to enjoy the new content released but cant because the game itself is unplayable with this issue.

yeageri just figured it out, I think. I play a fair bit of rocket league, therefore i have a xbox controler plugged in. I tried unpluggin it and the controls went back to normal.

spacefiddleConfirmed, and thanks to the V Discord for the tip as well: I have a HOTAS setup connected, as well as a head tracker. Unplugging both of these stopped this from happening. To anyone else who comes along: The UNITY engine apparently cannot handle the existence of multiple input devices. Yeeesh. What is this, 1996? Annoying, but at least there's a workaround.,
