Worse curtain color

When I want to change my curtain color, I just have white, for all colors selection.
In every castle, not just mine, in my husband castle to, however he can change the color of his curtains.
Red curtains are his, white are mine even I had selected green, I try to quit the game, but always the same.
The swap color works on wall, but doesn't work on curtains.
