Grethel the Glassblower is not cleared even after defeating and extracting her

After defeating Grethel the glassblower for Glass crafting and extracting her v blood, the usual notification of New knowledge acquired is not appearing and only drops the usual drops, i tried restarting the game ( im playing on a multiplayer server) and fighting her again, then again 3 times , i tried fighting other v bloods and they gave the new knowledge acquired just fine, but after trying her again, it just wont work, its getting frustrating, i really wanted to upgrade my castle and the only way it seems is to farm glass manually which sucks cause i have tons of Quartz waiting for her
