Music is silent Except for combat music and Sound effects

For some reason, despite having music volume set to 100%, I scarcely ever hear anything other than ambient noises, voice dialogue, and combat sounds. I can recall hearing a song or two on the music box, but I had to crank my speakers way up just to barely hear it.

I was playing the game, same as always, but despite that I've rarely heard music, other than the sun rising and moon rising noise, that's about the only music I can claim to hear.

The issue has been around since I've owned the game, can't recall very much music at all.

As for mods, I haven't tampered with them in the slightest, trying to experience the game vanilla before that. For some reason though, no music or if there is, it's really really quiet, even at 100% volume in game.
