Changing server settings doesn't work and we shouldn't need to go digging around in the game files.

Ok I tried to use the template but it doesn't leave enough characters. Can we please fix the settings already?? I found threads of people talking about these problems years ago and they're still not resolved? I can't seem to change any castle settings like max height, prison limit, servant limit, etc. I change them in the settings, launch the server, and nada. Still hitting the same limits as before. I also can't seem to disable teleport-bound items, among other things! I just feel like, if you go into your server settings and change something, it should, you know, ACTUALLY CHANGE! Sorry, I've been digging around in game files and year-old threads all day trying to get this to work and I'm frustrated. I tried changing things with the in-game menus, tried going into the server settings files, added in lines for adjusting castle height and disabling teleport bound items, I even changed game settings preset files and told it to use those, but nothing! Can't we make the in-game menus work?
