Connection Timed Out - Private Server - Issues when joining
Issue began after my game crashed when exiting the game, I assumed it was something minor and didn't think anything of it. The next day I attempted to launch the game and it took longer than usual, about 2 minutes or so when it usually only took around 10 seconds. I again didn’t think much of this and loaded up my private server that I’ve been hosting for a few of my friends, I had no issues with that and assumed everything was fine until a friend attempted to join and got the “connection timed out” screen. My friend re-tried joining a few times each time getting the same response.
Both my friend and I restarted our games and Steam and when that didn’t work we restarted our PCs, none of which worked.
I attempted suggested fixes such as enabling console and using the recommended command as well as changing the autosave settings to false in the server json code.
My PC graphics are up to date and meet minimum system requirements.
