Cloud Save bug? or corrupted files maybe

Was hosting a server when the electricity went out, but now it just loads to "error: server error". Tried uninstalling the game and removing my local files, nothing resolved the problem. Tried playing it with steam cloud save off, error still occurred.
Do I just go start again?
