No response from remote host on LAN
My girlfriend and I just wanted to try the new oakveil update, before we were able to play together on LAN, without any kind of problem. After the update we can't connect in any way, shape or form....
What we tried so far:
- I joined via steam (as usual)
- I joined via steam while the game is already running
- she invited me via steam
- she invited me via steam while the game is already running
- I connected directly via ip
- I connected directly via ip and the port displayed in her settings menu in game
- I also checked her firewall settings which were fine (set to all ports are open)
We obviously started the world as a LAN world and I ticked the LAN option when connecting directly.

Nedula Merged📋 Describe the Issue.
-What exactly is happening? Error: no response from remote host on local private world
-What were you doing before the issue occurred? Click continue from Main Menu or load w/ and w/o Lan checked off.
-When did the issue start? Can get game to load with new game but if I leave the game i can't ever get back into my world. Which is a PvE, solo, private only world. World started after latest vrising patch
- no mods
🔧 Troubleshooting Steps you have already tried, such as:
-Restart your PC, drivers all up to date
-exceeds specs
- reset game setting v4
-Verified game files via Steam
🌐 Server Information:
-Is the server: Private
-Are you the host? Yes
Maybe not a bug but can't find other place for support. I've tried everything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still after the first time I play a world I create I can't get back into it. Confirmed firewall settings are set to allow -

Raelic MergedWhile I am able to connect to an online server, or even a private server that someone else is hosting, if I try and create a private game, I am unable to connect. I get 'error: no response from remote host'. If i try to connect to my IP using the connect console command from the loading screen, I get 'Connection timed out'. I am simply unable to play a private local game or start a server for any of my friends to connect to. This all started after the Oakveil update, as I have over 200 hours in the game, most was done while I hosted.

Nahuel Rodriguez MergedI'm playing alone on a private server, without friends, but every 5 minutes at most, I get connection problems and it delays me for a few seconds, making it almost impossible to fight, and I know it's not the connection since I can listen to music in the browser tab without problems, and the server is private since it appears to me to pause it.
