  This issue should be fixed as of Hot Fix 5! If the issue persists, ensure the server you are playing on has been patched and has received the fix.
  
  Please note that if your horse is currently bugged in this way, for the fix to take effect, you will have to resummon your horse. After it has been resummoned, it should not break again.
  
  If the server you are playing on has been updated, you've resummoned your horse and the issue still persists, let us know! If you're playing on an official server, please also include the name of the server and the name of your character on that server.

  When you mount your horse holding F and don't immediatly release it when done, you unmount if you're close to an object that you can also engage using F. Maybe add a small timer after mounting a horse where the F button doesn't work.

  -What exactly is happening?
  When I return to my horse I cannot mount and it is stuck in an animation loop. After taking damage the horse becomes interactable again.
  
  -What were you doing before the issue occurred?
  Riding around looking for high-level bloods with Blood Hunger active. I then dismounted to clear a camp and upon return that was happening. Happened twice, in Farbane Woods.
  
  -When did the issue start? Was it after a specific update or event?
  Only noticed this behaviour today, but also only played in this way today (hunting 100%'s is fun).
  
  -Have you modified your game files or installed any mods?
  No.

  since today I cant mount my horse at all
  it happened mid gameplay idk when exactly
  the prompt "F to mount horse" doesnt appear when near it
  able to ride horse by summoning it again under my ass
  
  letting horse get killed doesnt fix
  releasing and taming a new one doesnt fix

  📋 Describe the Issue.
  
  -What exactly is happening?
  My vampire horse does not allow me to mount it like a normal horse. Regular horses can still be mounted.
  
  I can still summon my vampire horse to get mounted, but the normal "Hold F to mount" option is unavailable for vampire horses
  
  -What were you doing before the issue occurred?
  Nothing special, the update happened I logged onto a server and the vampire horse refused to let me mount it normally
  -When did the issue start? Was it after a specific update or event?
  It happened today, right after a recent hotfix (Hotfix 1.1 version 3).
  -Have you modified your game files or installed any mods?
  No mod's are installed

  Summary:
  Unable to use keybind to mount my dominated horse. The "Hold F to mount" interface does not show when next to my dominated horse but it does for non dominated horses. (see attached images)
  Image:
  The image with the horse named dingnut shows that the "Hold to mount" message does not appear. The next image with the horse named horse shows that the "Hold to mount" message does appear.
  Prior activity:
  Last night I died in mortium and I instantly logged out, even before respawning. When I loaded in today I was still dead and had to ressurect.
  Time:
  I noticed this issue today when I loaded in around noon.
  
  Findings and troubleshooting:
  Upon investigation I can mount non dominated horses but not my dominated horse.
  I have tried to restart pc, game, and verify integrity of game files.
  I have not modified the game files with any mods or config changes.
  
  Server:
  This is on the USW 3007 official server, I am not the host or admin.

  I'm also having the issue of not being able to mount my Subdued horse at all.
  
  I can mount wild/normal horses.
  I can mount them again when I get off.
  
  I can only get on my subdued horse by recalling it.
  Once I get off, I can't get back on, no prompt appears at all.

  I also cannot mount my Subdued horse by using interact key.
  I can only mount my horse by recalling it.
  
  No other interactive objects close by.
  I did unlock 3 horse perks. (Stability, Athletics, Eluding Leap).
  
  Official PvP server
  Playing on PC.

  I just started having the same issue, but I think I can pinpoint something that might've caused it. I named my subdued horse, then logged out. When I logged back in, I couldn't get back on my horse unless I summoned him.
  
  I didn't have him named for the longest time, and had no issue: it only started having problems specifically after naming my horse and logging out and back in.
  
  Was playing on Lycoris server, on PC.

  A potential cause for this bug is if / when you and your Vampire horse get struck by lightning in the north part of the map (Gloomrot). Multiple people are saying that, once they're struck they're no longer able to re-mount their horse. I, too, am having this issue.

  +1 for me too.
  I was able to mount it earlier this morning. Now I cannot. I can recall it with Subdue, but no other way.
  It doesn't matter if it's near other interactable objects.

  My friend and I are also experiencing this. No prompt to mount our vampire horses.
  
  Normal horses are fine. Have not found a work around, we can only mount by recalling the vampire horse, but if dismount we cannot get back on them until we resummon. Also the vampire horses don't seem to take damage now.

  After the recent patch to the servers, F to interact with Vampire horse had broken.
  I can summon my vampire horse which puts me on it, but if i try to mount normally, no button prompt.
  
  Can confirm this bug only happened after I restarted my server to apply the new server-patch.

  Cant mount my vamp horse either, will let me resummon it but there is no prompt to get on it. Have tried logging in and out, closing game, and killing myself and horse, nothing works.

  This happened to me as well. I think this happened after learning the thrust passive ability. I couldn't take it anymore so I released my horse and got a new one. I'm now able to ride my horse again normally. But I do have to relearn all passives and feed flowers again for stats.

  Somehow it doesnt prompt the f key to mount the vamparic horse every other horses are still functioning with the f key by the vamparic steed it doesnt even show it

  I have had issues where my horses actual location is a different place than it appears. The "Press F to mount" prompt appears when I am next to nothing. Pressing F then mounted me on top of my horse which teleported to the empty location.
  
  I think this was due to the stable somehow. Every time I dismounted my horse it started moving slowly in a certain direction - as if there was a stables nearby that it tried to go to eat at. This horse behavior also happens (correctly) if you dismount your horse near your stables.
  
  But now, after some hours, I can no longer mount my horse at all. I can resummon, but not mount.

  I got whole private server on my case. This morning after messing with server config try to modify trader's price.
  Every vampire horse in the server become uninteract and cannot mount with "F" action.
  After change the Json file. I hop in the game, call my horse to ride to check on traders and after I get down to speak with the trader I cannot get back on my horse. Other players not even log in when the bug occured and report me today.

  Sorry for the double comment, but now that I am thinking about it I think the bug actually started when I got interrupted by a lightning strike during the mounting animation.

  I killed my vamp horse and got new one, then interact worked. Hours later, I put my horse in stable and leave, when i login again then i suddenly cant interact with horse once again.

  Hello I have the same bug and everyone in my PVP server. We couldnt mount our horse in which we have to summon. We did everything from someone killing my horse, to logoff and log on, to uninstalling and reinstalling the game. We did notice though that when the bug happens when we summon the horse the saddle option doesnt have the X mark. I have to end up killing this good horse

  Having the same issue. Can summon Vampire horse and rides fine but as soon as I dismount I cannot use F to mount. I have to re-summon the horse! This issue just started within the last hour!

  The dedicated server (using VRising Dedicated Server .exe) I play on has been updated with the latest patch (not an official server), but the issue still persists. My friend on the server (including myself) also tried resummoning the horse and the issue still persists after the hotfix where we cannot press f / see the mount text to ride the horse. The only way we can ride the horse is using the resummon which is inconvenient when trying to make fast escapes. Happy to share more details to assist with debugging -- how can I do this?
  
  P.S. This is also my first dedicated server I've hosted and it was a private server (my friend's) migrated to a dedicated. No mods installed.

  1. Dominated/vampire horse cannot be mounted by interacting / press f on it. I can only mount it if I use subdue to resummon it.
  2. Nothing, sleeping in my coffin and relogged in on the private server and it no longer let me mount.
  3. Issue started both pre and post hotfix, the server was patched/update.
  4. No mods and gamefiles are v rising dedicated server using the Vrising server tool .bat to run.
  5. Troubleshooting
  -Restart your PC
  -Confirm that your PC meets the minimum system requirements
  -Verified game files via Steam
  -Reset game settings by deleting the "v1", "v2", "v3", and "v4" folders located at:
  -verified graphics/updated
  -host updated server
  
  🌐 Server Information:
  -Is the server: Non-Official / Private
  -Are you the host? Yes
