  Hello! We've had reports of similar crashes due to missing local files. Please try verifying files via:
  -Steam > Right click on V Rising > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files
  
  If this does not resolve the issue, please send the following files to logs@playvrising.com :
  -The Player.log file and the Player-prev.log file from the session where the issue happened
  (located here: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising)
  
  -The Player-server.log file and the Player-server-prev.log file from the session where the issue happened, if you are the server host
  (located here: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising)
  
  -The crash .dmp file, which should be located in one of the following locations:
  a) %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\backtrace\crashpad\reports
  b) %tmp%\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Crashes)

  After today's hotfix update I am no longer able to continue playing my legacy save from prior to 1.1 update. The message comes up saying it will launch an older version of the game without the new features. I hit ok. It closes V Rising and opens it again. It starts to load the server (authenticating) then crashes while the loading bar says (starting up).

  I've been playing with friends on a private server since the 1.1 release. Since the hotfix patch 4 yesterday my game always crashes either during shader configuration or in the 10 seconds after joining the game. My friends on the same server have no issues, including one on the same internet connection as me. I've tried checking files integrity and deleting the settings v1 v2 v3 v4 files. We don't use any mods, play on a Gportal 10 people server. Please help!

  -What exactly is happening?
  When I join any server or friend, it crashes as soon as the game starts loading
  -When did the issue start? Was it after a specific update or event?

  After the new update on May 1st, I can no longer access my friends server
  
  Troubleshooting tried:
  -Restarted PC
  -Updated graphics drivers
  -Verified game files on Steam
  -I have not modified any game files or installed mods.
  
  This occurs on a Private Server, where my friend is the host.

  I was playing today, just before the update that dropped 15 UTC.
  It was OK, now I'm trying to play and the game say "Initializing" then closes.
  I really don't like restarting on this game, pls fix it for me.
