I am unable to delete stairs. In searching for a fix on Google I found some Reddit threads that mentioned there had to be another path and advised to make another staircase to be able to delete one. I am now stuck with three sets of stairs that cannot be deleted. I have removed every wall, pillar and flooring near the stairs and still unable to delete them.

This is so prevalent that it should be considered a major bug. Stairs are uncooperative to being replaced or removed. The rules need to be relaxed around the conditions required to get rid of them. Devs PLEASE deal with this before abandoning the game. My screenshot is of one of two symmetrically placed staircases that I want to switch up from stone to wood. Because it's an access to another floor (not the only access -- symmetrical, so it's one of two) it says I have pillars in the way. I do not have pillars in the way. I have no walls touching it. I can't delete the floor attaching it to third and it's already on the second. I can do nothing except have these ugly stone staircases or tear down my whole place. -

Osmansan MergedDelete prompt is not showing any errors, holding spacebar plays the delete animation as normal but the stairs do not delete. They are not connected to anything. On an official server. Screenshots show base location, where on the plot, and shows the deconstruct prompt in the build menu without errors.
