  My servant died in an expedition. Its coffin said he had 150 expedition power after death.
  I revived him, as visible on the screenshot, he still had a 0 item lvl despite beeing fully suited.
  
  I took him a piece of gear and that instantly refreshed and corrected his global item lvl.
  
  So no equipement was lost in the process.
  
  Only issue so far is that on the throne the expedition power is incorrect it doesn't take into account his items and on the coffin it display item lvl 0. Untill, as stated, the player take at least one piece of equiped gear out (just unequiping it suffice) to refresh lvl.

  Hello, I have my servants geared to a certain level and send them out to the appropriate areas. When i come back the next day they have died. This has happened twice. They are properly geared but the gear level above the gear icons when you open their bag says 0. Also their max health are in the 700 based on the gear, weapons and necklace I have on them and now they show in the 100"s.

  When my servant dies on a hunt, their gear score is reset to 0. This is fixed by taking off a single piece of their gear and putting it back on. If I don't, all the gear they have on is treated like it isn't there.

  as tittle says.
  workaround is to re-equip the servant after ressurecting. otherwise will show as low level.

  Servant death reverted stat to lvl 150 but also completely changed their gear. Was fully gear in Dawnthorn set, revived and he had on Crimson Templar set, pulled from my Armor Chest in my Treasury. I know it pulled from here because of the empty slots since I sort after every use of a chest, cabinet, etc, so there shouldn't be empty slots in the middle of everything.
