Save Exit in human form, load up in vampire form

I changed into human form and went to the market then saved and exited while still in human form and in the market place. When I loaded up, I was in vampire form and got immediately attacked.
This was the 2nd level market where the sellers won't interact with you unless you are in human form.
Not a huge issue. I got away fine, but might be an issue elsewhere. Would be best maybe to stay in the same altered form when loading?
